Dear Arleen and Michael,I just had to write and tell you how excited I am with the new jewelry that you made for me! I wore the bracelet and earrings to work yesterday, and everyone wanted to know where I bought it! This weekend, I'll be wearing the necklace and pendant to a holiday party, and I know that everyone's going to love it! I can't wait to see you at the next art festival, so that I can buy the other pieces that I wanted! You two are awesome!
Love, Amy R

I have over 12 pieces from the Serendipity collection. I cannot control my "Wow!"s when I am looking at each of their new pieces. Everywhere I go, people comment on my necklace and ask where I found such a beautiful piece of artwork. Friends and family LOVE them as gifts. Arleen and Michael's work is a true inspiration to us all - I just feel better when I am wearing their artwork. In fact, I choose my necklace for the day and work the rest of my outfit around it!

Thank you, Serendipity! Dawn

I first saw Serendipity artwork at the Marietta Art in the Park Festival in Marietta, GA. I'm from the area, so it was easy for me to swing by the festival and check out the art. I quickly discovered that "easy", however, is a poor reason to check out and purchase Serendipity art.
When I stopped in the booth, Arleen & Michael greeted me as those I was a friend, and before I left the booth, I felt as though I was one. I bought a fused glass necklace pendant, and felt as if this pendant was a part of my own upbringing once Arleen & Michael talked to me about what it took to bring this piece of art into existence.
But I can tell you that this experience was not my sole experience with Serendipity. I ran into them again at the Delray Art Festival in Delray, Florida. Not only did Arleen & Michael remember me, but they also remembered my previous purchase, and based on this purchase, they had another recommendation. I loved the individual attention, the friendly demeanor, the feeling that both of them were/are committed to fitting me with the "piece" that belongs to me (or should belong to me). They did introduce me to "my" piece, this time one of fused glass. I needed to own this piece. I did not feel pressured, I felt beholden--that Arleen had crafted a piece that so well suited me, it was as though she made it for me. And I bought it.
If my testonimonial sounds effusive, let me tell you that it is certainly warranted. Arleen is a great craftswomen, and Arleen and Michael are a great tag-team related to finding the best piece for the customer. I wholeheartedly recommend Serendipity and its art. And I expect you'll love it as much as I do. Please let me know if you have questions about this fine organization; I'd be happy to offer a recommendation,
Karen Carter

Dear Arleen & Michael:
I have only been home a couple hours, and I know you are on the road and don't know when you will be able to open this email, but I wanted to say THANK YOU for such a lovely experience at the Farmington Founders Festival today.
I'm the gal who bought two butterfly bracelets and coordinating earrings, plus the earrings that match beautifully the Swarovski bracelet I was wearing.
I have learned the importance of saying "thank you" and wanted to thank you for:
Being so kind...
Being so helpful...
...but most especially for giving me your personal butterfly.
I also appreciate the importance of kindness; you never know how something that may seem simple to you, means the world to someone else! That is why I try very hard to be kind, patient and helpful to everyone I come in contact with, and why I appreciate it when it is shown to me.
As I told you, I've been going through "some stuff." The "stuff" was a divorce last year after 25 years of what I always thought was a happy marriage (big time midlife crisis going on with my former husband), and last year I also had a cancer scare (it was quite a year!) but I am and will continue to be, I believe, healthy. More importantly, I choose to be happy.
I am a somewhat spiritual person and I believe with all I am that God never gives us more than we can handle, and every single thing we go through in our lives happens to teach us something, or to refine us in some way.
It took over a year for the divorce to go through, and just this past April I moved into a condo and started all over. A new beginning; not one I would have ever chosen, but one I know is necessary, for some reason.
As I told you, I love butterflies, and I believe they represent new beginnings. On my wall in my new home I have a beautiful hand drawn picture WITH A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY ON IT, with a quote from Isaiah that says "Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past; see I am doing a new thing." It reminds me every day of my new beginning, and to trust that this is where I am meant to be.
I also believe that God puts people in our paths for a reason. I have to tell you, I believe that with all my heart as well. I had a heck of a time getting to that festival today, but I had this determination, deep down inside, to get there.
I believe it was so that I could meet you. Every day we are sent new blessings, and you were definitely a blessing today!
Thank you for your kindness, and for passing on that butterfly, it will stay in with my five smooth stones that I ALWAYS carry with me (each stone has a word on it that signifies what I know will and has gotten me through everything: Faith, Hope, Love, Trust and Truth)
I will never forget your kindness!
Wishing you many blessings,
TS

Dear A & M, Still thinking about your kindness and help on that boiling hot art fair day in the Old Orchard Market on Saturday. Not able to return on Sunday. At least, I got some lovely black earrings to remind me of you on Saturday. A very happy recollection in the most disturbed time. Not so all over so, it makes your reaching out so much more wonderful. Hope all things get better in these hectic times. Respectfully, MJ

NOTE: The following letter was forwarded to Howard Alan Events.

To Whom It May Concern: I would like to thank you for including Serendipity in your art shows. I attended a few of the shows in South Florida the past number of years, and have bought some beautiful glass art jewelry from the Parkers. A number of my friends have admired my Serendipity jewelry and are looking forward to meeting these artist next winter. We live in Miami Beach and attend the shows in Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale, Weston and in Boca Raton. We appreciate the quality that your organization brings to these wonderful art shows.

Thank you, RZ

Dear Arleen and Michael,

Thank you so much for making the necklace so beautiful! It is so much more than I thought it would be. Katelyn loves it! Let us know if you ever come back to Stuart or Hobe Sound for another show. Thanks again, Connie.

I have one of Arleen's exquisite pieces and LOVE it. Every time I wear it, people stop me and ask where I got it! Thank goodness Arleen has a great website to which to refer them.

Hi,
I have four of your necklaces, and I gave an additional one to my daughter, plus one to a very good friend. I wear mine all the time, and have never worn them without getting a compliment. That should tell you that they are unique, and that the workmanship is superb.

I love Serendipity's jewelry, it's unique one of a kind and I always get compliments on it! First time I saw it, I was sorry I didn't buy a certain piece and went home (to Cleveland ) thinking about it...I emailed Arleen and she let me know they'd be in Cleveland for a show 2 months later and she'd hold the piece for me....I'm now the owner of that piece and wear it often! The following year I was on my way to St Pete Beach to spend a few days in our condo and thank goodness that Serendipity emailed me to let me know they'd be in town at a craft show the day I arrived....if it wasn't for their good business savvy, I would have missed the show and wouldn't be the proud owner of yet another beautiful piece of their jewelry. It's nice dealing with fun, loving, quality people such as Arleen and Michael.

Hi Arleen And Michael: I Wanted to tell you how pleased we are with our recent purchase of your unique jewelry. The quality, design and workmanship, all add to the pleasure our daughter's have in wearing the pieces. Thanks, and looking foward to seeing you soon at another art show. Warmest regards.
